Producer Mary Aloe is one of Los Angeles’ most prolific female producers. She formed Proud Mary Entertainment Inc. an L.A. based Feature Film/Television and Talent Management house in 1999. Aloe Entertainment’s main two divisions produce and finance slates of movies and run a 50 million dollar P & A fund backed by Merrill Lynch for Regent Entertainment. This organization specializes in developing/producing independent studio features, television series, network and cable event movies. Mary Aloe and Aloe Entertainment specialize in obtaining 100% financing for features by raising private equity; working with hedge funds, gap financing, top tier foreign sales companies and securing domestic distribution. 2008 into 2009 is going to be another banner year for Mary Aloe and her staff at Aloe Entertainment. The organization has been enjoying a run with a record slate of seven completed features in last the two years; scheduled for release in 2008.

Given this ambitious pace of production, the organization is garnering a reputation as a mini-studio. Mary Aloe and her partner Mike Dolan owner of Smithfield Studios are currently lining up their first slate of recently announced 6 pictures of their 12 picture alliance in Pittsburgh. The partner’s first major studio film with MGM Studios is "Mary, Mother of the Christ", the prequel to "The Passion of the Christ".  Aloe and Dolan own and will produce the script written by - writer of "The Passion of Christ" - and are hiring many of the original crew from the movie. The film will be shot in Morocco with Dune Films (Gladiator, Alexander The Great) in February 2009 for a Christmas 2009 release.

The partners are now in post-production on "Hollywood and Wine" starring David Spade,, Vivica Fox and Chaz Palaminteri.  Their next two films on the slate, currently in production, are the real life "Grand Theft Auto", "Marble City" and "Ghost In the Ring" - the true life Mexican /American boxing story about  Feather Weight Champion Gabriel Ruelas.
Aloe Entertainment has recently raised financing, produced and completed production with additional partner, The Vancouver Film Studios in Canada. Aloe’s produced features with this partner have yielded work that has been selected for prestigious film festivals, such as: “When A Man Falls In The Forest” starring Sharon Stone and Timothy Hutton, was selected for main competition at the Berlin International Film Festival in February and main competition for America’s South By Southwest Film Festival. “Numb”, starring Matthew Perry and Mary Steenburgen, selected to have its world premiere in the Discovery section at this year's Tribeca Film Festival. “Battle In Seattle”, a political action drama written and directed by Stuart Townsend and starring Charlize Theron, Woody Harrelson, Ray Liotta, Channing Tatum, Andre Benjamin (Outkast), Joshua Jackson, Martin Henderson, Connie Nielsen and Michelle Rodriguez.  "Battle in Seattle"had its world premiere at this years’ Toronto International Film Festival in main competition. It had the biggest sale at the festival and is being multi-platformed theatrically across America this fall 2008. Aloe’s other films coming out this year are “While She Was Out”, a female action thriller starring Kim Basinger and Lucas Haas executive produced by Guillermo Del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth) and jointly produced by Don Murphy (Transformers) and “Tortured”, starring Laurence Fishburne and James Cromwell will be released this fall through Magic Box and Sony Pictures.  With a host of other high-profile projects currently in develoAloe Entertainmentnt, 2008 promises to be an equally productive year for Aloe Entertainment. At present, “Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever” with LGE has now completed its filming in North Carolina and will be have it’s theatrical release in the Spring of 2009. Aloe’s first feature film endeavor in 2004 entitled “Downtown: A Street Tale” starring Genevieve Bujold and Domenica Scorsese with American World Pictures.


Aloe’s foray the into the business began in television with producing over eight successful national reality and television talks shows. In 2001, Aloe transitioned into long form television with Columbia TriStar and NBC with “The Princess and the Marine”, a MOW for NBC Television, the project, chronicling the true story of a Middle Eastern Princess who fell in love with an American Marine, generated so much excitement it incited the second biggest bidding war in television history'see Mary Aloe'. It then became the highest rated Movie of the Week that year for NBC. Aloe executive produced this made for TV movie with Columbia Tri-Star. In the television division of Proud Mary Entertainment, Room “401” was produced jointly with partners Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg premiered on MTV this season. Aloe is also developing a bevy of reality series The Real Women of Nashville and The Real Life Coming to America with the Prince of Nigeria, “The Nancy Grace Project” with America’s most famous female prosecutor and CNN talk show host with 20th Century Fox television studios.


Aloe Entertainment is also co-owner of the Pritcher Management Organization, a management firm located in Los Angeles, CA. This P.R. division has a roster of clients that include corporate companies currently sponsored by Staples, Mattel and Xerox. Mary Aloe has also affiliated herself with the top organizations in the entertainment industry. She is a member of the following guilds: WEN (Women's Entertainment Network), American Federation of Women in Television and Radio, CAUCUS, Women in Film, The Producer Guild of America,! Jay Jacobs joined the develoAloe Entertainmentnt team of Aloe Entertainment in August of 2007 reviewing and covering all incoming projects. Jay Jacobs currently supervises the develoAloe Entertainmentnt team and directly assists President Mary Aloe with all stages of feature film and television production including budgeting, financing, casting, film festivals as well as foreign and domestic distribution deals.

Jude Hinojosa joined the develoAloe Entertainmentnt team of Aloe Entertainment in March of 2006. Jude’s main focus is to cover incoming scripts and develop potential future projects for the organization. Also a writer, Jude drives towards creating stories and characters that will change entertainment: revolutionizing the standards of race and creativity, i.e. bringing Los Angeles closer to art without restrictions.
His involvement in acting and writing throughout the community flourished his passion for the arts, thus sending him to Los Angeles’ American Musical and Dramatic Academy. During his study, Jude's one-act play was chosen for performance- the first time AMDA has accepted original student work.
